Adna Bakija<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Adna Bakija (Sarajevo, 16 June 1991) is an academic sculptor and muralist who works in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. She began her artistic education at the High School of Applied Arts in Sarajevo, in the sculpture department. She then enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, where she completed her undergraduate studies, and graduated in sculpture at the Academy of Arts in Split.<\/p>\n

She received her pedagogical education at the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek, which allows her to work in educational institutions. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HULU) in Split.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Today she lives in Zagreb and works at the ALU Art Foundry, specializing in the production of bronze sculptures and monuments.
She uses a variety of materials in her work – bronze, plaster, clay, wire and laminated paper. She often finds inspiration in nature and the animal world, which is evident in her murals and public sculptures along the Adriatic coast.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

She is the author of numerous public monuments, art projects and murals in Croatia.
